Areas of Study

Different areas of study combine to result in the ultimate musical experience.  At Cambridge School of Music we divide our concentration in key areas that come together in a final comprehensive picture of  the quality and enjoyment of Music.

Music Theory

A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of written music theory is essential to expanding the musical horizons of every musician regardless of ability.  Inspiration and imagination are limited without a practical concept of how to organize and arrange the tones we hear in logical patterns and sequences.
